Ready Set Dance

Bel took her first dance classes at the age of 10, with Davidia Lind Dance Centre (DLDC) training in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary and Singing. Bel treasures her years in the DLDC performing team, competing in local eisteddfods, performing with Julie Anthony in the Brisbane Warana Festival, Southbank Christmas parade, 12 days of Christmas show at Southbank, and performing with Toni Pearen at the end of year concert. At the age of 18 she decided to learn tap, and later took further adult dance classes in contemporary.

Bel returned to the dance world again when she enrolled her daughter in her first dance lesson at the age 2 years. Hoping to share with her the magical experience of performing, Bel soon realised that her daughter loved it and her son decided to join dance also. Now Bel is an experienced dance Mum with a wealth of knowledge in the competition/eisteddfod dance world.

Seeing the confidence and co-ordination dance provides young children, Bel fell in love with the Ready Set Dance program. With a certificate 3 in early childhood education, Bel thoroughly enjoys working with the 2-5 year age group and appreciates the way this program has been built around childhood milestones. Certified in Ready Set Dance and Ready Set Ballet, she loves her tiny dancers as she helps them build their confidence, teaching the basics of dance all while having a bundle of fun.
